      • How hard is this event?
        • Plenty hard for the Bold Route with sustained and unrelenting climbing after a flat 13 miles of pavement to start the event. The Bold Route defines the “Takelma Tough” attitude.
      • Where do I pick up my gear bag?
        • There will be a table set up in the south parking lot where event staff will hand out your goody bag and souvenir Takelma Tough t-shirt. This can be done the day before the event, Friday, 4:00 – 6:00PM, or day of event, 6:00 – 7:30AM.
      • What is at the aid stations?
        • Event staff will offer you multiple options, including PB&J, Bananas, Pickles, and Cookies.
        • Hammer Nutrition gels and Heed (electrolyte drink) and water available for refill.
        • Riders can bring a one-gallon zip lock bag of their preferred dietary supplements and drop it off at the registration table at the same time as picking up the goody bag. Event staff will leave them at the aid station for rider arrival. Please label bag with plate number and last name.
        • Those riders that provide a zip lock bag – when finished, please do not leave them at the aid station. You can throw away any empty bottles or waste when you return from your ride. Remember to leave no trace while on course and toss away all trash.
      • Are refunds or transfers allowed?
        • All entries are non-refundable. Transfers can be made through your bike reg. for the account, up to 72-hours before the event. In the case of an event postponement due to unforeseen circumstances, all entries will be moved to the postponed date. A 100% credit will be issued if you are unable to attend the rescheduled date or following years’ date.
